Contribution Kit
There are two ways to contribute to Wistory: designs that go into the game, and the clips you share. The specs, rules, and rewards for both are on this page.
How It Works
Read the Contribution Kit
Learn the accepted contribution types, the technical specs, and the game's visual language — all on this page.
Design and Submit
Prepare your design, link your game account, and send it from the submission page. Passwords are never entered on this site.
Curation
Submissions are reviewed weekly; every contribution gets an Accepted, Revise, or Declined response.
Into the Game + Reward
An accepted contribution enters the game with the designer's signature; your reward is granted to your account.
Rewards
Lydian
An in-game Lydian reward for every accepted contribution. Amounts will be announced with the first contest.
Community Artist Title
Everyone whose contribution enters the game carries the permanent "Community Artist" title on their profile.
Your Name in the Game
Your designer signature on your work, your name in the game's credits panel, and a mention in release notes and site news.
Community contests will run on monthly themes; the first theme is card back design. The calendar and reward amounts will be shared in the news.
Clips & Content Form in test mode
You don't have to be a designer to contribute. If you record and share your Wistory moments, that counts too: send us the link and we'll reward you based on its reach.
Record
Catch a good moment: a match everyone thought was lost, a masterful diplomatic play, a beautiful tour of a map.
Share
Publish it publicly from your own account on YouTube or TikTok; add #Wistory to the description and tag our official account (@wistory).
Send the Link
Send the link from the submission page. Your game account must be linked — that's where the reward lands.
Get Rewarded
Your views are read at the end of the two weeks; posts that pass the threshold have their Lydian reward granted to the linked game account.
How Counting Works
We run counts every week, and rewards are paid weekly. For your post, the decisive count is the one two weeks after you publish: the reward is set by the views collected up to that point. Only views from those first two weeks count — anything later doesn't. That's why posts older than two weeks can't enter the program.
Requirements
- Platforms: YouTube and TikTok. (Others will be considered as demand appears.)
- The game must be visible: the bulk of your post should be Wistory gameplay.
- Tag it: the description must carry #Wistory and a tag of @wistory.
- Keep it public: hidden or deleted content isn't counted.
- It must be yours: you can't submit someone else's clip as your own.
- Clear the rights: you must have permission for any music or visuals you use.
If bot traffic or purchased views are detected, the post isn't evaluated; on a repeat offence the account is removed from the program. We may ask for extra information in unclear cases — evaluation and reward decisions rest with the studio.
We don't download and re-upload your video. When we feature a post, we do it through the platform's own share/repost — because you tagged us — so the content stays on your account, under your name. Anything beyond that (a promo video, say) we'd ask you for separately.
View thresholds and Lydian amounts will be shared in the news. Link submission opens together with the submission system.
The Game's Look
Wistory's visual identity rests on one deliberate tension: warm, simple cartoon characters living inside a heavy, weathered, historical world. Your contribution should sit inside that language.
Characters are simple and charming
Flat color fills, bold outlines, simple faces. No texture, grime, blood, or ornament on the character itself.
The world is heavy and textured
Frames, panels, and backgrounds carry stone, parchment, and bronze; cracks and ink bleed belong here. Drama settles around the character, not on it.
Outlines aren't pure black
Outlines use the warm dark brown ink-900; a pure black outline makes a character look pasted onto the ground.
Gold means "precious" — only that
Gold/bronze tones are for currency, rewards, and the top rarity tiers. They are not a general decoration color.
Color Palette
Start from this palette. You don't have to use these exact values — but your contribution should feel at home in this family.
Ground — parchment and stone
Metal — value and frame
Semantic — the diplomacy triad
Rarity — ascending value (the game's 6 tiers)
Tier 1 — Direct Catalog
A design that meets the spec goes into the game as-is once it passes curation.
Card Back
The back face of the game's cards. Aim for a simple composition that stays readable at small sizes.
- Size512 × 704 px (8:11)
- FormatPNG
Profile Icon
The square icon shown on a player's profile.
- Sizesquare — final spec to be confirmed
- FormatPNG
Country Pattern
The pattern that fills a country's surface on the map. Edges must connect without seams.
- Size512 × 512 px
- Tilingseamless
- FormatPNG
Title Text
A short title suggestion carried on player profiles. Accepted ones are added to the title list; existing titles never change.
- Typeshort text
Music
A track that can loop in the menu or during a match. A license declaration is required for every ready-made sound or sample you use.
- FormatOGG
- Structureseamless loop
Menu Background
A background image for the main menu.
- Sizespec to be confirmed
- FormatPNG
Tier 2 — Polished Contributions
A finished product isn't expected; a good concept is enough. If accepted, it's finalized in the studio's production pipeline.
Character Concept
An idea for a new commander or character: pose, outfit, silhouette. Full drawing quality or animation isn't expected — the idea just needs to read.
Emoji Pack
An expression-set concept for in-match communication. Spec to be confirmed.
Tier 3 — Maps & Scenarios
Map
Maps are built with the in-game map editor and submitted from inside the game. Selected maps are published in the official pool under their creator's name and rewarded.
Scenario Data Pack
Historical scenario data (for example, in the 1942 scenario format). The data template will be published.
No code mods. Wistory doesn't accept code-based mods and never will — the mobile platform, multiplayer synchronization, and security require it. Contributions are limited to the content types above.
Rules
Originality
The contribution must be entirely yours. Tracing, copying, or deriving closely enough to be recognized as another work is not accepted.
License Consent
At submission you accept a license allowing the contribution's use in the game: non-exclusive use, your name always shown, and your right to request removal. The full text will be published with the submission system.
AI Disclosure Draft
AI-assisted creation must be declared, and your own hands-on work on it (retouching, editing, combining) is expected. The final policy will be announced.
Atatürk Theme
Atatürk-themed community submissions are not accepted. Because of the responsibility imposed by Turkish Law No. 5816, Atatürk content in the game is produced only by the studio, from a limited, approved list.
Music Sample Licensing
A license declaration is required for every ready-made sound, loop, or sample used in a music contribution.
Curation Process
Submissions are reviewed weekly. Every submission gets an Accepted, Revise, or Declined response — nothing disappears into silence.
